The Surekha & Deepak Kumar, MD, Endowed Fund
This fund supports supports early-career physicians pursuing opportunities that expand their leadership, policy, and advocacy impact. Applicants may request up to $3,500 in granted funding. Eligible opportunities include:
- national advocacy conferences,
- physician or health-system leadership tracks,
- business management,
- communication leadership programs,
- accredited certificate programs,
- or structured hybrid/online courses.
Funding may be used for tuition, registration, travel, materials, or other related costs.
Programs must be completed by February 2027.
Grant Details:In its inaugural year, the fund is awarding three grants, marking the first step in this long-term investment in physician leadership across Ohio. Awardees will share their experience at the OSMA Annual Meeting in April 2027 and be featured in OSMA Foundation communications. (NOTE: Applications are currently closed.) Have Questions? |
